Photo exhibition - Horse, between light and shadow - Bérénice Coulier
To mark the opening of the château's stables to the public for the first time, the owners wanted to put the horse in the spotlight by inviting a young artist to exhibit her work. A rider, equine nutritionist and breeder (Haras Qualescy - Sologne), Bérénice Coulier is also an equine photographer. Her love of both photography and horses is evident in her art, which strives to capture the character and uniqueness of each horse in images enhanced by either a black or white background. It's hard not to fall in love with so much personality
Family workshops around puppies.
Every Wednesday at 4.30pm in June, July and September
It's impossible not to fall in love with our locally-bred Anglo-French puppies. Every year the breeding season starts in the spring. Find out how they are cared for, from puppyhood to adulthood. You will also give your suggestions to find names for them ! and who knows ? Maybe next year, you will discover the name you suggested has been given to one of them !

The Hounds meal
Every Thursday at 4 p.m between July 11 and August 22.
It's quite impressive to watch the 70 hounds gobbling down their meal !

“There is excitement at the castle! »
For one night, the ghosts of the castle meet in Champchevrier. Their mission: to help visitors find the treasure that will save the castle. A nurse from the first world war, an 18th century bride, a servant from the Renaissance, a soldier from the 30 years war. Each of these ghosts will bring snippets of clues over the plays.
Young and old are invited to participate at the same time as they discover the Château de Champchevrier. Humor and enchantment guaranteed.
Possibility to picnic before the visit in the castle park (from 7:30 pm).
